At Education Inspired, we believe that a Christian education is the most important education. Children need to be able to read, write, do math, and understand science in order to live in society, but understanding God's purpose for their lives is the most important thing children can learn. In this section you will find resources you can use to help develop academic and spiritual growth.
This section has Bible study bookmarks you can print out, tips for memorizing Scripture, and ideas regarding prayer, including a prayer journal.
Some people love to color! This section has coloring pages based on Bible verses or stories. More pages are added as they are developed, so check back often if you want more.
The beginning readers are great for young children who are learning to read. The text is very similar to the Bible (which explains certain oddities in the language), but uses a more simple language that beginning readers can understand. Since some words in the Bible are difficult but there is no simple substitute, like Jesus, rebuses are used when needed. In those cases, a small picture is below the difficult word in order to help students know what word to say.
Playing games is engaging and motivating for people of all ages. There are free games you can print and play that are not only fun, but also help children to grow spiritually. Be sure to check out Bible Trivia Bowl. It is a family favorite.
Puzzle Pages are activity pages beginning readers can do during the sermon. They reinforce reading skills with activities based on Bible stories. These can also just be printed out and used at home or any time for fun.
I will update this page each year with ideas and resources for the VBS theme that my church is doing.
