Baby Moses in the Basket
This is the story from Exodus 2 of how God kept Moses safe and made a way for his mom to raise him for a while and to have him grow up in Pharaoh's house. When reading this book, discuss how God had a special plan for Moses' life. God has a plan for everyone, including you!
This is the "reader" version of Baby Moses in the Basket. It is just right for small hands, and for making copies.
Story Felt Board is a collection of art you can use to make characters for a felt board. Simply cut them out, laminate them if desired, and glue some felt on the back. Use it to act out the story, or allow children to retell the story on their own.
On the Baby Moses in the Basket activity page, children fill in blanks in the Bible story summary and then write those words in a crossword puzzle. On the other side, children read the main points of the story and number pictures in the order they happened in the story. They can also color the pictures.
