Measurement
Length, width, temperature, volume, and more...
First and Goal Measurement Units: Pairs of students determine which units of measurement are appropriate to use in various scenarios and select the best estimate of measurements of common items, while thinking about both customary and metric units. When players answer questions correctly, they move game pieces across a football field board in an attempt to either make a touchdown, or to block the quarterback.

Giggles the Clown Customary Measurement: Small groups of students answer questions about customary units of measurement (such as which units to use to measure different items and unit equivalencies) while trying to avoid Giggles the Clown! You can also take out the Giggles card and use these cards as matching cards, or to play a traditional memory game.
|
Giggles the Clown Elapsed Time: Small groups of students find corresponding clocks after figuring out elpased time, all while trying to avoid Giggles the Clown! You can also take out the Giggles card and use these cards as matching cards, or to play a traditional memory game.

Giggles the Clown Metric Measurement: Small groups of students answer questions about metric units of measurement (such as which units to use to measure different items and unit equivalencies) while trying to avoid Giggles the Clown! You can also take out the Giggles card and use these cards as matching cards, or to play a traditional memory game.

Giggles the Clown Time to the Hour and Half-Hour: Small groups of students match digital clocks with analog clocks that show the same time while trying to avoid Giggles the Clown! This version includes times that are either on hour or half-hour. You can also take out the Giggles card and use these cards as matching cards, or to play a traditional memory game

Giggles the Clown Time to the Hour and Half-Hour: Small groups of students match digital clocks with analog clocks that show the same time while trying to avoid Giggles the Clown! This version includes times to the minute. You can also take out the Giggles card and use these cards as matching cards, or to play a traditional memory game
|
Giggles the Clown Volume: Small groups of students match questions about the volume of three-dimensional shapes with their answers. Avoid Giggles the Clown! You can also take out the Giggles card and use these cards as matching cards, or to play a traditional memory game.
|
I Have Who Has Elapsed Time: Large groups of students listen to each other say elapsed times and respond in turn with reading their analog clocks, while trying to put the cards in order. Time your group to see how fast they can do it. Then do it again to see if the time improved. After you play the game, put these cards in a center for individuals or small groups to sequence on their own by stacking them on top of each other.

I Know! Bingo! Time to the Fives: Small groups of students match digital times with pictures of clocks on a board. The first player to cover four clocks in a row wins.
